Install maintain and repair mechanical systems and equipment
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Work with PLCcontrolled systems to ensure seamless operation of machinery
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
Ensure all equipment is aligned and calibrated according to industry standards
Read and interpret technical manuals blueprints and schematics to guide installations and repairs
Conduct system tests and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machinery and processes.
Ensure all tools and machinery are properly maintained and calibrated
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Document maintenance and repair work performed and maintain accurate logs of activities

Skills & Experience:
ASetterwithtoolmakingexperience
Proven experience as a Millwright particularly in the FMCG sector
Strong knowledge of PLC systems hydraulics pneumatics and mechanical systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and organizational skills

Minimum requirements
Minimum 25 years experience
Millwright Trade Test

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
