Description:
Graduate students at the University of Hawaii at Manoa are invited to apply for a graduate research assistantship with our cancer survivorship research program at the University of Hawaii Cancer Center. The candidates are required to be in good academic standing and demonstrate a strong interest in an area of academic writing in the field of cancer survivorship with a majority of the work will be conducted with data from mindfulness meditation studies. This GA position requires onsite availability at the University of Hawaii Cancer Center in Kakaako.
Other Conditions:Continuation of the position is subject to satisfactory work performance and availability of funds. Inquiring candidates must be enrolled as a student at University of Hawaii Manoa campus.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Assist PI with writing research papers for journal submissions.
2. Maintain record of human subject in research studies.
3. Provide support to PI with data analysis and interpretation.
4. Assist with utilizing manuscript portals and writing up any revisions necessary for the resubmission and review process.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.
