We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Automation Test Engineer with 46 years of experience in Python and Robot Framework preferably with a solid background in banking or financial services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing automation solutions to validate missioncritical applications and ensure consistent software quality.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain automation test scripts using Python and Robot Framework
Create robust test cases for UI API and endtoend testing
Work closely with developers and product teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
Perform test analyze test results and log defects with appropriate detail and severity
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the automation frameworks continuous improvement
Engage in Agile development activities including sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives
Ensure test coverage traceability and documentation for all test cases

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

MustHave Skills:
46 years of professional experience in QA with a strong focus on automation
Handson experience in Python programming for automation
Proficiency in Robot Framework for designing and running test automation
Experience with REST API testing using Robot or Python libraries
Solid understanding of banking or financial services applications
Working knowledge of SQL for backend data validation
Familiarity with version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins)
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative environments
Strong problemsolving and debugging skills

Goo To Have:
Experience using Test Management tools like JIRA Zephyr or TestRail
Awareness of banking standards regulations (e.g. AML KYC) or Core Banking Systems
QA certifications such as ISTQB or Certified Agile Tester
