Join our innovative team in Berlin as an HV Automation Lead Engineer where youll contribute to a groundbreaking 2 Gigawatt HVDC project shaping the future of highvoltage power transmission.Job Description
As the HV Automation Lead Engineer you will contribute in designing implementing and overseeing sophisticated automation systems for highvoltage substations including HMI/SCADA integration industrial networks and switchgear controls. You will ensure compliance with technical specifications safety standards and contractual obligations. Your role will involve close collaboration with stakeholders mentorship of engineering teams and active participation in acceptance testing and commissioning phases directly influencing project success efficiency and reliability of critical energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implementation of Substation control systems.
Coordination of engineering teams and contractors to meet technical specifications schedules and budgets.
Supervision of factory/site acceptance testing and commissioning activities.
Key Required Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Substation Automation/Protection or Industrial Automation.
Minimum 2 years of handson experience in HV Substation Automation.
Proven expertise with HMI/SCADA and industrial networks.
Solid understanding of electrical installations.
Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
NicetoHave Qualifications:
Knowledge of clusters virtualization technologies version control tools asset management tools and cybersecurity.
Experience conducting FAT/SAT testing and commissioning activities.
Previous experience managing engineering tasks in EPC or turnkey projects.
