Mission:
As a Data Operations Engineer at JobNimbus I simplify and optimize data pipelines to empower our dev and BI teams with fast reliable and accessible data. My mission is to eliminate friction automate the messy stuff and make our data infrastructure so smooth it disappears into the backgroundfreeing teams up to build analyze and act without bottlenecks.
What youll be doing:
- Work closely with Business Intelligence to enable them to deliver automated accurate and useful data to stakeholders within the organization
- Collaborate with the dev teams to provide data tooling support and guidance
- Work closely with our dev ops group to enrich the data modules available to the organization
- Build and maintain scalable data infrastructure using AWS services (e.g. S3 Glue Athena Redshift) and Terraform enabling robust data lake and data warehouse solutions

- Cloud Data Infrastructure Expertise: Strong handson experience with AWS services such as S3 Glue Athena Redshift and Lambda for building and managing data pipelines and storage solutions
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in using Terraform to provision manage and version cloud infrastructure in a scalable and reproducible manner
- Data Architecture & Warehousing: Deep understanding of data modeling ETL/ELT processes and designing efficient data lake and data warehouse architectures that support analytics and BI use cases
- Collaboration & ProblemSolving: Ability to work crossfunctionally with dev dev ops and BI teams to troubleshoot issues optimize data flows and ensure data accuracy and availability
