The Role We Offer:

As an Environmental Data Management and Energy Transition Analyst you will join the Global Procurement and Supply Management (GAAM) team and collaborate closely with several strategic departments (Engineering Health & Safety International Training etc.. Your primary mission will be to strengthen product environmental compliance and improve data management to better assess the environmental impacts of the supply chain.

Your Main Responsibilities:

1 Data Analysis and Optimization

Handle and structure data related to energy consumption and product environmental criteria.

Develop and enhance accessible and efficient databases for tracking environmental impacts.

Propose solutions to optimize data collection and management processes.

2 Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management

Support the collection and verification of environmental data to ensure product compliance with regulations (REACH ROHS etc..

Assess supplier maturity in decarbonization and environmental risk management.

Contribute to the development of strategies to reduce the carbon footprint of goods and services purchased by CAE.

3 Supplier Collaboration and Engagement

Assist in the deployment of communication campaigns with suppliers to enhance compliance and energy transition efforts.

Work in synergy with multiple internal teams to ensure an integrated approach to environmental and regulatory challenges.

Our ideal candidate has:

Strong data analysis skills.

A genuine interest in change management and the environment.

Autonomy and flexibility in work organization.

Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential.

Bilingualism in English and French is required.

Profile sought:

The ideal candidate is at the masters level or has a bachelors degree specializing in business analytics environmental engineering or computer engineering with data analytics coursework.

*All candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada and comply with the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hired individuals will be required to complete sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within one week of receipt. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students holding a work permit must provide a copy and a certificate of good conduct from the countries where they have resided in the past 5 years.

*Please note that if you hold a study work or international student permit security clearance processing times may take a minimum of 16 weeks.
