Job Description
- Bachelors degree in Mathematics Education or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Massachusetts licensure in Mathematics.
- Three years classroom experience
- Experience working with struggling students and knowledge of best practices in special education and multilingual education.
- Strong understanding of datadriven instruction and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Provide targeted Tier III instruction and support in mathematics to identified students ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
- Work closely with classroom teachers to develop and implement strategies that meet the diverse needs of students fostering an inclusive learning environment.
- Analyze student performance data including MCAS and STAR Math to identify learning gaps and monitor progress adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with faculty to design and refine math curricula that are engaging and accessible to all students incorporating best practices in teaching multilingual learners and students with special needs.
- Provide training and resources for teachers on effective instructional practices for supporting struggling students in math.
