Job Description

Abilene High School is seeking applicants for a night time custodian. Job details:

This a a 40 hour per week job with benefits package. Health insurance is available by employee choice of enrolling.

Paid sick and personal leave can be accumulated with time.

School year hours 3:0011:00PM.

Summer hours and scheudled break hours change.

Opportunities for overtime available based on events being held on weekends.

Work as part of a four person night custodial team.

Base pay is $14.00 per hour; adjustments can be made based off of experience and skill set.

During the first year there will be three evaluations. Positive evaluations can lead to a 3 cumulative raise over the first year.

Job requirements:

Be punctual dependable and take pride in ones work.

Be able to take direction along with exhibit selfmotivation for task completion.

Be able to work alone and accomplish predetermined tasks associated with a custodial position.

Be flexible in ability to be called off of current task to assist when needed.

Be able to complete tasks such as general facility cleaning bathroom cleaning sanitizing of surfaces removal of trash and other duties as assigned.

Taking pride in the facility for the benefit of student learning and positive image with community and guests.

Ability to bend lift and complete physical actitivities associated with a custodial position.
