About the Opportunity
SUMMARY
The lab of Professor AlbertLszl Barabsi is looking for Postdoctoral Research Associates in the area of network science nutrition biological networks machine learning/AI and science of science as well as quantifying art. The BarabsiLabs current work spans the applications of networks toward understanding food and nutrition human diseases disease progression biomarker discovery and drug repurposing as well as understanding the emergence of impact in art and science. The BarabsiLab is also looking for Postdoctoral Research Associates in the areas of network medicine complex disease mechanism systems pharmacology bioinformatics and network science/statistical physics. This position at Northeastern University may include opportunities to collaborate with the Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Womens Hospital.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will
- Assist with initiating executing and completing clinical research and experiments
- Prepare and write research papers presentations grant proposals etc.
- Assist with laboratory management; and training graduate students.
QUALIFICATIONS
PhD required in nutrition bioinformatics physics computer science mathematics or statistics or related field. The BarabsiLab is seeking motivated individuals with an interest in exploring complexity and its applications to food art science and medicine from a network perspective. The ideal candidate has working experience in network science/bioinformatics and ML/AI/DL.

$59423.00 $83934.50With the pay range(s) shown above the starting salary will depend on several factors which may include your education experience location knowledge and expertise and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarlysituated employees already in the role.
