Job Description
Job Summary:
- Follow lesson plans assignments and instructional materials.
- Maintains order and discipline in the classroom conducive to effective learning.
- Takes all necessary safety precautions to protect students equipment materials and facilities.
- Creates a classroom environment that provides for student involvement in the learning process.
- Enables each student to achieve learning objectives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- The minimum qualification is a High School Diploma.
- Ability to speak and write effectively and correctly.
- Indications of excellent human relations skills.
- Ability to pass a background screening and Maryland HB486 Background Check Screening.

Pay Rates:
Daily rates:
NonDegree $105/day 4year Degree $130/day. MD Certified $140.00/day
LongTerm Rates (Assignment for more than 6 days):
NonDegree $125.00/day. 4year Degree $150.00/ day. MD Certified $160.00/ day
*Eligible to accrue Sick & Safe Leave
*For longterm assignments in our Title I Elementary Schools we look for MD Certification initially.
