Job Description

What Youll Do:

No banquet is complete without its bar and our hotel is no exception. As the bartender be prepared to bring your ultrafriendly personality to bear while youre taking orders mixing drinks and chatting up customers.

Here are just a few of the tasks youll be completing on a daily basis:

  • Make and serve drinks to guests in a friendly courteous and timely manner.
  • Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
  • Set up a portable bar in the function area
  • Break down and clean bar thoroughly and return all supplies to their proper area.

Where Youve Been:

Were looking for someone with a High School diploma or equivalent previous bartending experience and a current Food Handlers Permit. Most importantly youre someone who is capable of thinking on their feet and able to keep up in highpressure situations. If that sounds like you go ahead and apply.

When Youre Here:

This probably goes without saying but youll be on your feet a lot. There will be occasions when you may be carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds walking bending/twisting climbing stairs and working on slippery floors. You also must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights weekends and holidays. But wait theres a great upside: in exchange for your flexibility we offer excellent pay hotel discounts F&B discounts and the opportunity to be part of an anythingbutstandard growing hotel company.
