GDS Tax Technology and Transformation

Position

EYs GDS Tax Technology and Transformation teams mission is to develop implement and integrate technology solutions that better serve our clients and engagement teams. As a member of EYs core Tax practice youll develop a deep tax technical knowledge and outstanding database data analytics and programming skills.

Everincreasing regulations require tax departments to gather organize and analyse more data than ever before. Often the data necessary to satisfy these everincreasing and complex regulations must be collected from a variety of systems and departments throughout an organization. Effectively and efficiently handling the variety and volume of data is often extremely challenging and time consuming for a company.

EYs GDS Tax Technology team members work side by side with the firms engagement teams clients and tax technical subject matter experts to develop and incorporate marketleading data and technology solutions that deliver the highest quality valueadding efficiencies to the Tax operations lifecycle.

EY is currently seeking a Staff to join our Tax Technology practice in Bangalore India.

Key Responsibilities

• Onboarding and implementing tax technology platforms (including data/document management workflow custom apps dashboards and portals) to support and automate internal operations of clients and engagement teams.
• Management of investor demographic data and set up of footnotes to generate partner and entity level tax forms.
• Configure test and run diagnostics on partner and entity footnotes.
• Understand and evaluate key tax processes technology data analytics and risks/controls.
• Grow technical skills and business knowledge through training and handson experience.
• Identify areas of process improvement centred around the enduser.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• A Bachelors in Information Systems Tax Technology Management Information Systems or Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 1 years of related work experience
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Basic knowledge in any one of the tax technology solutions (e.g. Go Systems OneSource Data Analytics)
• Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite tools (e.g. Excel Power Point VBA)
• Working knowledge in any one of data analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Alteryx Power BI Power Query Power Pivot Power View and Power Map)
