TPF Recruitment Kents leading accountancy practicerecruitment agency is representing an excellent firm of accountants based inWest Malling Kent who are looking for an Accounts & Tax Manager to join theirteam.
Our client is a wellestablished practice who services awide range of clients across Kent Sussex London and the SouthEast. They havea broad range of clients from startup businesses through to significantly sizedgroups. They provide a range of services from bookkeeping VAT and payrollthrough to tax accounts and advisory services.
Theyre looking for an Accounts & Tax Manager to jointheir team based in West Malling Kent where you will report into the Partnerand be responsible for a mixture of accounts tax bookkeeping and VAT work.
You will also help a couple of junior members of the teamthrough reviewing their work and helping them with their development. For thoselooking for progression there are excellent progression prospects on offer anda clear route to progress to Director in the future should you wish.
- Reviewing and preparing year end accounts forsole trader ltd companies and LLPs.
- Reviewing and preparing management accounts andassisting the Partner with presenting them to nonfinancial stakeholders.
- Reviewing and preparing corporate tax andpersonal tax returns.
- Dealing with more complex matters relating toCIS and VAT.
- Supporting the Partners with adhoc project workand assisting with basic tax planning.
Requirements
- You will be ACCA or ACA qualified or qualified by experience
- Experience of Xero Sage and or QuickBooks would be advantageous.
- You will have at least 5 years experience working within an accountancy practice.
- Based in Kent commutable from Maidstone Tunbridge Wells Tonbridge Sevenoaks Medway Rochester Chatham etc.
- You must be able to drive
