Overview

Our Team Leaders here at Change Grow Live play an integral role in ensuring an effective service provision for our service users by creating a focusedculture engaging staff to provide an innovative and continually improving service and provide leadership support and development to a wide range of staff.

You will work as part of the service developing pathways between Criminal Justice Agencies both in the community and within the prison service to support seamless continuity of care.

As the Team Leader you will be expected to work with their team to support a service users subject to court orders such as ATR RAR DRR and prescribed clients released from custody. You will also oversee the recovery workers who will have service users on their caseloads that are linked in with criminal justice system or are at risk of offending.

Where: Luton

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week

Full Time Salary Range: 35220..91 (pro rata for part time hours)

Responsibilities

About the role:

  • Operational line management of a team of staff which includes supervision (with reflective practice) appraisal performance and sickness management as well as ensuring staff follow CGL and external policies applicable to their roles.
  • Empowering staff to promote hope empowerment choices control and opportunities that assist service users reaching their full potential as individuals and community members.
  • Work with your team and Designated Safeguarding Lead (if not your role) to ensure that the practices within the team/service enable identification of service users children and families who are at risk.
  • Ensure that staff are competent in the delivery of interventions that reduce risk to service users.
  • Support staff to improve service user outcomes through observed practice providing timely valuesbased feedback.

About you:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of developing and leading health and social care services and delivering services which evidence high performance and quality standards.
  • Significant experience of leading teams who work with service users who are involved with the Criminal Justice system.
  • Able to lead inspire and develop a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to use common MS Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook)

Fulltime hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For parttime roles the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
