EDUCATION EXPERIENCE TRAINING
1. Must be knowledgeable regarding the Health Information Management Department process and its application and evaluation of qualitative issues.
2. Successful completion of college level courses in anatomy physiology medical terminology and coding ICD and CPT.
3. Successful completion of an education program for Registered Health Information Technician (R.H.I.T. or Registered Health Information Administrator (R.H.I.A.; required.
4. Must possess current certification / license as a Registered Health Information Technician (R.H.I.T. or Registered Health Information Administrator (R.H.I.A..
5. Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in a related field; preferred.
6. Effective January 23 2020 EPIC proficiency in Deficiency Tracking ROI and Coding modules is required within 90 days of hire.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire in which a wide range of factors will be considered including but not limited to skillset years of applicable experience education credentials and licensure.
