Job Description
Qualifications:
Required: Associate Degree in related area or minimum of 5 years experience in machining area. Must be familiar with CNC operations and CAD/CAM operations.
FLSA: Exempt
Salary Schedule: Per Approved Teacher Salary Schedule
Direct Report: Vocational School Director (Principal)
Terms of Employment: 9 Month
Eligible for emergency telework: With Supervisor approval
Purpose:Students will receive education and training in the use and functions of precision machine tools.
Essential Job Functions:
- Attend work in a regular reliable and punctual manner.
- To telework when requested by the District.
- Provide instruction counsel and evaluate student progress in both performance and knowledge areas.
- Develop and maintain uptodate objectives lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Maintain records on student progress attendance inventory and other information as required.
- Take course as required to update skills and knowledge and for teacher certification. Attend new teacher institute in August.
- Participate in professional teacher organizations and activities.
- Select and specify instructional materials supplies and equipment.
- Perform such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
