Job Description
Position Purpose
Responsible for maintaining Zeroharm principles while providing product and service that meets or exceeds the internal and external customers expectations using the most costeffective methods available
*Position Hours will be from 7a to 3p Monday through Friday*
Major/Key Accountabilities
Direct manpower materials & work activity to achieve plant output to planned levels
Manage performance on productivity quality and safety. Direct coach train and develop team members to meet corporate strategic goals and safety initiatives.
Conduct employment interviews and ensure compliance with new hire practices
Manage shift payroll and submission.
Direct plant operations within CHEP SHE safety guidelines for all internal external customers and contractors.
Local Safety Champion and CoChair of the JHSC
Collect validate & record key plant output information.
Provide leadership for continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage GRTW programs and Claims Management.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree or College Diploma
Experience
57 years of frontline supervisory experience in production manufacturing logistics or customer service
Experience with formal safety programs required
CHEP experience an asset
Maintenance programs and knowledge of regulatory environment an asset
Skills and Knowledge
Working knowledge of Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing or other continuous improvement programs are assets.
Production planning experience relationship building analytical problems solving skills strong ability to multitask and work within a team environment. Experience with recruitment hiring discipline and termination processes.
Computer proficiency Microsoft Office required SAP Kronos CMMS are assets.

Objectif du poste
Responsable du respect des principes Zeroharm tout en fournissant des produits et services qui rpondent ou dpassent les attentes des clients internes et externes en utilisant les mthodes les plus rentables disponibles.
Horaire du poste : 7:00am 15:00pm du lundi au vendredi
Responsabilits principales
Grer la mainduvre les matriaux et lactivit de travail pour atteindre les objectifs de production planifis.
Superviser la performance en matire de productivit de qualit et de scurit.
Diriger encadrer former et dvelopper les membres de lquipe afin datteindre les objectifs stratgiques de lentreprise et les initiatives en matire de scurit.
Mener les entretiens dembauche et assurer la conformit des pratiques dintgration des nouveaux employs.
Grer la paie des employs du quart et soumettre les donnes ncessaires.
Assurer le respect des normes de scurit CHEP SHE pour toutes les parties prenantes (employs clients externes et soustraitants).
Agir en tant que Champion de la Scurit local et Coprsident du CSS (Comit de Sant et Scurit).
Collecter valider et enregistrer les donnes cls de production.
Fournir un leadership pour les initiatives damlioration continue.
Grer les programmes de Retour au travail progressif (GRTW) et la gestion des rclamations.
Qualifications
Formation
Diplme universitaire ou collgial.
Exprience
5 7 ans dexprience en supervision de premire ligne dans les domaines de la production de la fabrication de la logistique ou du service client.
Exprience avec des programmes de scurit formels (exige).
Exprience chez CHEP (un atout).
Connaissances en maintenance et en rglementation (un atout).
Comptences et connaissances
Connaissance des principes Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing ou autres programmes damlioration continue (un atout).
Exprience en planification de production gestion des relations rsolution analytique de problmes et capacit grer plusieurs tches dans un environnement dquipe.
Exprience en recrutement embauche gestion disciplinaire et cessation demploi.
Matrise des outils informatiques Microsoft Office (exig).
Connaissance de SAP Kronos CMMS (un atout).
