Job Description
Prepare and serve meals according to established guidelines and portion sizes.
Assist with food preparation including chopping slicing and cooking.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cafeteria including regular cleaning of workstations utensils and equipment.
Set up serving areas as required.
Ensure food is stored properly and safely adhering to all food safety regulations.
Assist with inventory management including monitoring stock levels and notifying the supervisor of any shortages or expired items.
Provide excellent customer service to students and staff addressing their needs and concerns with a positive attitude.
Follow all school policies and procedures regarding safety health and security.
Job Requirements
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and work in a fastpaced environment.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.
Must pass a full background check and meet all local health and safety requirements. - Citizenship residency or work visa required
