MUST BE A CURRENT IRVING ISD EMPLOYEE
PRIMARY PURPOSE: This is a temporary position to support distribution sorting inventory moving and labeling of instructional materials orders rotating through multiple elementary campus sites during the months of JuneJuly 2025.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Tools/Equipment Used: box cutters tape roller and dolly/hand truck
Posture: Prolonged sitting and standing; frequent kneeling/squatting bending/stooping pushing/pulling and twisting
Motion: Repetitive removal of materials from boxes and applying labels to boxes reboxing and stacking boxes.
Lifting: Lifting and carrying (up to 45 pounds); will lift and move science materials
Environment: Hands On Science Center possibly Elementary school gyms
Mental Demands: Maintain emotional control in a fastpaced environment
Safety: Contribute to the prevention of accidents and injuries by observing safety rules and District policy practicing the principles and skills taught in safety training wearing personal protective equipment as required reporting injuries and incidents immediately to the supervisor and being proactive in the ongoing efforts to improve and maintain workplace safety.
