The General Surgeon Laparoscopy Consultant plays a crucial role in providing specialized surgical care to patients in Karnal Haryana. Key Responsibilities

- Perform laparoscopic surgeries for a variety of abdominal conditions.
- Ensure adherence to surgical protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress during preoperative and postoperative stages.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and outcomes.
- Manage and mitigate potential surgical risks and complications.
- Participate in preoperative and postoperative rounds.
- Document all patient interactions surgical procedures and outcomes accurately.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in laparoscopic techniques and technologies.
- Actively participate in departmental meetings and case discussions.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior medical staff and surgical residents.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives within the surgical department.
- Collaborate on research projects to enhance surgical techniques and patient care.
- Assist in the development and implementation of surgical protocols and guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent degree in Medicine.
- Board certified in General Surgery.
- Fellowship in Laparoscopic Surgery is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a surgical role with a focus on laparoscopy.
- Comprehensive knowledge of surgical procedures tools and safety protocols.
- Strong understanding of patient assessment diagnostic techniques and treatment protocols.
- Excellent manual dexterity and handeye coordination.
- Proficient in the use of electronic health record systems.
- Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written.
- Able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong problemsolving and criticalthinking abilities.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
- Current licensure to practice medicine in Haryana.
- Ability to handle highstress situations calmly and efficiently.
