Radiologist Consultant (MD DNB)
Location: Kundli Haryana
Overview:
The Radiologist Consultant plays a pivotal role in the healthcare team focusing on diagnosing and treating disease through advanced imaging techniques. This position is crucial in ensuring that patient care is prioritized while delivering the highest standards of diagnostic services. The Radiologist Consultant will perform a variety of imaging procedures interpret the results effectively and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to outline treatment plans. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures including Xrays MRIs and CT scans.
- Interpret imaging results to diagnose health conditions effectively.
- Develop and execute treatment plans based on diagnostic findings.
- Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare providers to ensure integrated care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and imaging documentation.
- Educate patients on imaging procedures alleviating apprehension or concerns.
- Supervise and mentor junior radiologists and radiologic technologists.
- Engage in continuous professional development through attending workshops and seminars.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while utilizing imaging technology.
- Contribute to departmental quality assurance and improvement efforts.
- Participate in case discussions and peer reviews to enhance diagnostic accuracy.
- Implement and uphold standards for patient care and clinical excellence.
- Manage patient flow and scheduling for efficient service delivery.
- Review and interpret specialized imaging studies as required.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology practices and technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD) with specialization in Radiology.
- DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in Radiology.
- Active medical license to practice in Haryana.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical radiology.
- Strong background in diagnostic imaging techniques.
- Proficiency in digital imaging technologies and software.
- Certification in advanced imaging modalities preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Commitment to ethical medical practices and patient confidentiality.
- Experience in research or academic settings is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing healthcare environments.
- Willingness to participate in continuing medical education (CME).
