Job Description
Job Title: DV DFX Design Engineer
Location: Bangalore India
Experience: 35 Years
Responsibilities:
- Lead the DV and DFX activities throughout the design lifecycle including earlystage feasibility design verification and validation.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including hardware engineers software engineers and quality assurance teams to ensure robust design solutions.
- Perform detailed analysis and simulations to validate the design under various conditions.
- Integrate DFX methodologies (DFM DFT DFx etc. into the product design cycle ensuring manufacturability testability and costeffectiveness.
- Develop and maintain verification plans testbenches and documentation for design validation.
- Conduct root cause analysis for design failures and suggest design improvements to enhance product quality.
- Ensure designs meet regulatory standards and customerspecific requirements.
- Support design reviews and provide technical leadership during design development and testing phases.
- Participate in risk assessment and mitigation processes for design and product development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Computer Science or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in DV (Design Verification) DFX (Design for X) or related design roles in hardware or electronics.
- Strong experience with industrystandard tools for design verification simulation and testing (e.g. Cadence Mentor Graphics Synopsys etc..
- Solid understanding of DFM DFT and other DFX principles.
- Experience with schematic capture PCB design and layout considerations.
- Strong knowledge of digital circuit design and verification techniques.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python TCL or Perl) for automation of verification tasks.
- Familiarity with various verification methodologies including UVM SV and related tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in continuous integration and test automation processes.
