Position Open For: Procurement Manager
Job Location: Durgapur West Bengal

Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with operational goals.
- Identify evaluate and maintain relationships with key suppliers contractors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms and cost savings.
Operational Procurement:
- Manage procurement of heavy machinery mining tools fuel explosives PPE and consumables.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid disruptions in mining operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams for stock replenishment.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure procurement activities comply with safety environmental and ethical standards.
- Mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions price volatility and supplier performance.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Cost Control & Budgeting:
- Monitor procurement budgets and contribute to costsaving initiatives.
- Conduct a spend analysis to identify areas of cost optimization.
- Collaborate with finance and operations to forecast procurement needs and budgets.
Process Improvement:
- Streamline procurement processes through automation and best practices.
- Implement ERP or procurement systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) to improve procurement efficiency.
Team Leadership:
- Lead train and develop a team of buyers and procurement officers.
- Set KPIs and review team performance regularly.
Required Profile:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Engineering Business Administration or a related field.
Min 67 years of experience in procurement preferably within mining heavy industry or energy sectors.
Experience with ERP systems.
