ShelBar Electronic Industries Inc. is a rapidly growing North American company specializing in security lifesafety and information system integration. With a brandnew location now open in Omaha we re looking for a motivated experienced Senior Security Systems Technician to help us build the local operation.
This is a groundfloor opportunity with leadership potential competitive pay and full support. You ll work on medium to largescale commercial security projects involving access control video management intrusion detection and networking.

What You ll Do:
Install and commission access control CCTV alarm and intercom systems
Wire strikes cameras cabinets power supplies and network gear
Build racks run cabling and prepare systems for deployment
Program IPbased video and access systems (Genetec Milestone etc.
Set up and configure servers (Windows SQL networking/switching)
Troubleshoot and service installed systems
Work with site supervisors general contractors and customers professionally
Interpret wiring diagrams and electrical drawings
Requirements
5 years of experience in security systems installation and service
Solid experience with access control CCTV and lowvoltage wiring
Working knowledge of IT/networking Windows Server and SQL
Familiarity with Genetec Avigilon Milestone Bosch or similar platforms
Ability to work solo and as part of a small fastpaced team
- Valid driver s license and clean driving record
- Able to pass a background check
Certifications with Genetec Axis Bosch or similar
2year degree in electronics IT or networking
NICET or lowvoltage licensing (or willing to earn it)
