Overview:
At Ambit we are on a mission to transform the world of rare and specialty disease. We are looking for people who excel in their work and are able to manage ambiguity with resourcefulness and creativity. Engagement Leaders play a critical role in client management project delivery and team development. In this role you will contribute to the overall success of each engagement through project design management and delivery. Your ability to understand client needs and design and execute a project plan will be critical as will your ability to direct senior consultants consultants and analysts.
Responsibilities:
Structure a project plan including primary research (HCP patient payer internal stakeholders) and secondary research and analysis milestones workshops etc.
Lead or participate in daytoday client interactions
Design deliverables that clearly communicate key findings providing actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders
Work interactively with your project teams to share insights incorporate feedback and evolve analysis and deliverables
Supervise consultants and analysts in research (primary secondary vendor management) and in the development of welldesigned PowerPoint slides that tell a clear and compelling story
Provide structured and actionable feedback to team members to maximize professional development
Assist Principals and Directors with pitches and proposals providing critical feedback on project design timelines etc.
Requirements
Qualifications:
5 years of experience with a management life sciences or strategy consulting firm supporting pharmaceutical and biopharma/biotech clients. Experience working on rare disease therapy/treatment projects preferred.
MBA/PhD or BS in business life sciences or related field
Demonstrated experience in team management including leading and mentoring project team members and direct reports
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and client engagements for pharmaceutical rare disease or biopharma clients
Ability to work inperson in our New York City office at a minimum of three days per week
Able to start within 24 weeks upon accepting an offer
