Job Description
Job Title: Qualified Practice Accountant
Location: Sutton Surrey
Salary:(dependent on experience)
Job Type: Fulltime Permanent

About the Role:
TPF Recruitment is proud to be supporting a wellestablished independently run accountancy practice based in Sutton Surrey. This firm has built an outstanding reputation for delivering highquality accounting tax and advisory services to a loyal and diverse client base. They are looking for a Qualified Practice Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practice accountant who enjoys working closely with clients managing a varied portfolio and contributing to the success of a thriving independent firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries acting as their main point of contact
- Prepare and review statutory accounts for sole traders partnerships and limited companies
- Complete and file corporation tax returns and personal tax computations
- Ensure compliance with all HMRC and Companies House filing requirements
- Provide business advisory services and support clients with their financial queries
- Use Xero daily including bookkeeping reviews bank reconciliations and reporting
- Supervise and support junior team members where required
- Liaise with HMRC banks and other third parties on behalf of clients
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with proven experience in a UK accountancy practice
- Strong working knowledge of Xero essential
- Confident managing a portfolio of clients independently
- Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills
- Proactive organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
- A team player with a positive and professional attitude
