Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Source and procure raw materials ingredients packaging materials and other supplies required for food production.
Evaluate supplier quotations negotiate prices and establish longterm vendor relationships.
Maintain optimal inventory levels and place purchase orders as per production demand forecasts.
Ensure timely delivery of materials without disrupting the production schedule.
Coordinate with the quality control and production departments to ensure material specifications are met.
Track orders and deliveries resolve any supply issues or delays.
Maintain accurate procurement records including purchase orders invoices and inventory logs.
Monitor market trends and identify costsaving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company procurement policies.
Assist in supplier audits and periodic performance reviews.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Food Technology or related field.
2 4 years of experience in procurement preferably in the food & beverage industry.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficient in MS Office and procurement software (e.g. SAP Oracle Tally).
Good organizational and communication skills.
