Job Description

A leading manufacturing industry is looking for Quality Inspector to ensure that manufactured products meet established quality standards and specifications. The role involves inspecting materials and finished goods identifying defects and supporting continuous improvement in the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct incoming inprocess and final product inspections based on standard specifications and work instructions.

  • Use measuring tools and instruments (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges to verify product dimensions and tolerances.

  • Identify nonconforming products and document findings through inspection reports or NCRs.

  • Support root cause analysis and participate in corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Maintain proper records of inspections test results and qualityrelated documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 customerspecific standards and internal quality procedures.

  • Collaborate with production engineering and QA teams to resolve quality issues.

  • Assist in calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.

  • Monitor work areas for process adherence and workplace safety.

  • Train or assist in training production staff on quality standards and inspection procedures.



Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum 1 3 years of experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of quality standards specifications and engineering drawings.

  • Knowledge of quality tools like 5 Whys Fishbone Diagram or FMEA is an advantage.

  • Proficient in MS Office and basic reporting formats; experience with ERP or QMS systems is a plus.

  • Good communication attention to detail and teamwork skills.
