Were Hiring: Machine Operator 1st Shift
Location: Monroe OH
Starting Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: MondayFriday 1st Shift Overtime as needed
Are you an experienced warehouse professional who thrives in a handson fastpaced environment Were looking for a reliable and safetyminded Machine Operator to join our team on 1st shift. In this role youll operate forklifts and cranes set up and run equipment and ensure materials are handled and processed accurately according to specifications.
If youre detailoriented experienced with metals or industrial machinery and ready to take on a role that keeps the operation running smoothlythis job is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts cranes and other material handling equipment
Pull inspect and verify product before processing
Set up machinery safely and accurately based on work order specs
Run material according to setup notes and verify quality standards
Perform and document inspections and measurements
Maintain and clean assigned equipment
Handle packaging and labeling per written instructions
Identify and segregate s or nonconforming materials
Enter/delete material tags using provided systems
Report issues related to product quality or machine efficiency
Train new team members as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Support lean and quality initiatives across the operation
What Youll Need:
High school diploma or GED
Ability to read write and perform basic math
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
Warehouse and forklift experience required (metal industry preferred)
Use of handheld measurement tools (e.g. tape measure calipers)
Strong safety awareness and mechanical aptitude
Basic computer proficiency
Bonus Points For:
Prior experience working in a metals warehouse
Familiarity with quality control processes or lean manufacturing
