Salary Range: $74350.08 $92937.60 per annum 8 vacation pay. Placement within the range is typically between the minimum and midpoint and based on qualifications and experience subject matter expertise and internal equity with consideration for how the candidate is developing meets or exceeds the roles requirements.

POSITION SUMMARY
Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional nonpartisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice administrative support and information services. The Assembly is an autonomous employer separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.
The Human Resource Operations department is seeking a resourceful approachable and strategic individual for the auxiliary fulltime position of Human Resources Advisor.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager the Human Resources Advisor (Advisor) is responsible for providing HR generalist advisory services and program development to assigned client departments across the organization. The Advisor maintains processes relating to existing HR policies procedures and programs and supports the research development and implementation of new policies procedures and programs.
The Advisor works directly with leaders to identify needs provide advice guidance and coaching that supports strategic and operational objectives and understands the clients core concerns to help identify problemsolving techniques and specific actions to be taken. The Advisor uses their knowledge and expertise with all aspects of the employment relationship including: recruitment and retention compensation and classification employee relations disability and leave management performance management employee engagement workforce planning and change management.
