Job Description
We seek a highly motivated and skilled Workload Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing and automating our operational processes driving efficiency and ensuring seamless workflow management. As a Workload Automation Engineer you will be responsible for designing implementing maintaining and optimizing workload automation processes using industryleading tools like ControlM and Automic that streamline workloads and enhance overall productivity.
Your expertise will be essential in identifying bottlenecks and providing innovative solutions to improve application performance and job scheduling. You will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to gather business requirements assess workload demands and develop tailored automation strategies that align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement complex workload automation solutions using ControlM and/or Automic WLA.
- Create and maintain job scheduling definitions dependencies and calendars.
- Monitor and manage automated workflows to ensure reliability and performance.
- Develop and maintain scripts (e.g. shell Python PowerShell) for automating tasks and processes.
- Integrate workload automation tools with various applications and databases.
- Collaborate with application teams to gather requirements for automation needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to job executions and scheduling.
- Develop and maintain documentation for workflows and automation processes.
- Evaluate and recommend new workload automation tools and technologies.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to existing automation frameworks.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in workload automation and job scheduling tools such as ControlM AutoSys Automic or similar.
- Strong scripting skills (shell Python PowerShell etc..
- Experience with database systems (e.g. Oracle SQL Server Postgre).
- Experience with operating systems (e.g. Linux Windows)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure AWS GCP) is a plus.
- Experience with monitoring tools and performance tuning.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
