Duggan Internship
Academic Tutoring / Enrichment Support / LINKS Intern / Maintenance / OT at
WNEU
Description: Work with academic teacher to support their teaching/ activities and provide
additional tutoring/support to students as needed.
Responsibilities depending on the position:
- Academic tutoring.
- Assist with academic organizing and planning.
- Assist with making copies.
- Assist with activity coordination.
- Assist with student work reviews.
- Mobility around the school facility
- Able to go up and down stairs
- Recycling as directed
- Ability to list up to 20 pounds
- Janitorial work
- Ability to follow directions
- Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies
Internship location: John J. Duggan Academy / Springfield Museum / Western New England
University / Freedman Elementary
Expected hours: varies depending on the students schedule and internship assignments not
to exceed 10 hours per week.
Dates: from 09/24/2024 to 01/23/2025 for Semester 1 2/04/2025 06/12/2025
Rate of pay: $15 dollars per hour.
Total number of students expected to hire: 10
