Procon E&C is seeking an Accounting and HR Manager to oversee financial operations and human resources management for our construction projects. This position reports directly to the Director of Finance and provides an excellent opportunity to gain handson experience in financial reporting compliance and HR management while supporting advanced financial operations through our cloudbased ERP system Acumatica.
The role requires expertise in financial and HR management ensuring compliance with regulations optimizing financial operations and maintaining company policies and employee records. You will play a crucial role in streamlining financial and administrative functions while collaborating with outsourced CPAs and managing employee performance and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial & Accounting Responsibilities:
- Manage monthend procedures including financial close processes and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements business reports and cash flow forecasts.
- Analyze Work in Progress (WIP) reports and manage project financials.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements and support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and assisting in implementing audit recommendations.
- Collaborate with outsourced CPAs for financial guidance and compliance.
- Optimize financial operations using Acumatica ERP.
- Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) ensuring accuracy with purchase orders and invoices.
- Apply and verify internal approval processes based on the Delegation of Authority.
- Oversee the general ledger ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded classified and reconcile.
HR & Administrative Responsibilities:
- Supervise the Admin Manager to oversee recruitment termination leave management performance reviews company policies and benefits programs.
- Provide coverage for the Admin Manager or Corporate Management team members when they are on leave or unavailable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience in construction accounting or a projectbased accounting environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with Acumatica ERP or other cloudbased ERP systems.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and administrative policies.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Experience in managing HR functions including policy implementation performance reviews and benefits administration.
