Job Description
*Remote position *
This position requires you to be located in (Connecticut Maine Massachusetts New Hampshire Rhode Island Vermont). Enjoy the perks of remote flexibility with some travel required!
As a Project Engineer youll be responsible for performing the conceptual and detailed design of overhead and underground electric distribution systems ranging from 4kV to 69kV. Youll collaborate closely with senior engineers and Project Managers while also helping to guide junior engineers. Your role will involve leading small to medium projects interacting independently with clients and ensuring that the quality control process is followed meticulously including the use of the Quality Review Tracking tool for engineering formatting and independent reviews. Additionally youll create detailed drawings specifications and cost estimates for distribution systems ensuring projects are executed efficiently and according to client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related engineering discipline from an accredited university
- 4 years of handson experience in designing and supporting electric distribution projects
- Experience collaborating with various internal and external engineers project managers and stakeholders
- Ability to guide and/or mentor junior engineers
- Ability to travel 1020 locally and domestically as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- EIT or PE License
- Knowledge of Computer Aided Design or GIS Design
