What will you do

Youll design and develop critical systems and applications primarily focused on preventing detecting and mitigating bad actors in Amazons transportation network leveraging latest Machine Learning and Generative AI technologies. Youll architect innovative solutions that combine advanced AI/ML models with traditional security approaches to identify and counter emerging threats. Youll build sophisticated detection systems while regularly interacting with engineering and business leadership.

You will participate in the planning and of securityfocused technology projects and operational excellence initiatives incorporating the latest developments in AI/ML for enhanced threat detection. Youll also mentor junior engineers in employing strong design and implementation practices particularly in building robust security systems powered by machine learning.

To accomplish this you will be expected to have an established background in building highly scalable systems and applications great communication skills and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment. You should be somebody who enjoys working on complex system software is customercentric and feels strongly about building good software as well as making that software achieve its operational goals. Experience in building and operating largescale distributed systems with a focus on security architecture ML/AI implementation and advanced threat detection mechanisms will be very applicable and helpful.

4 years of noninternship professional software development experience
3 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
3 years of programming using a modern programming language such as Java C or C# including objectoriented design experience
Experience with full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations

Experience in machine learning data mining information retrieval statistics or natural language processing
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
