Job Description
Mitchell Technical College is seeking anWelding & Manufacturing Technologyinstructor to join the Mitchell Technical College (MTC) Team beginning August 1 2025. The position is open until filled.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A minimum three years of work experience 6000 hours) in the field.
- Associates degree preferred.
- Pass a state and federal criminal background check.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with HAAS controllers for operation of TL1 ST20 and VF4 machining stations.
- Experience with Fiber Laser and HighDefinition plasma cutting tables.
- Previous use of SolidWorks for drafting and design.
- Metal fabrication and CNC programming experience preferred
- Passion for training with a high level of integrity honesty and professionalism.
- Communicate effectively master change work in groups and have strong customer orientation.
- Preference will be given to applicants who have related industry experience teaching experience evidence of teaching skills and experience working with diverse populations.
- Excellent time management organizational and attention to detail a plus.
The Instructor will be responsible for:
- Teaching assigned courses; assessing student progress in classroom and laboratory settings; developing and updating curriculum; and assisting with recruiting and advising students.
- Leadership in both academic and workforce areas to fulfill the educational goals and objectives of theWelding & Manufacturing Technologyprogram and MTC.
