The WarrentonHammond School District is seeking a Principal for the Warrenton Grade School (WGS) effective for theschool year. The district seeksa visionary leader with the instructional leadership skills and interpersonal abilities to engineer success for each and every student. The Principal must have the ability to work collaboratively with all shareholders establish highlyeffective instructional practices and use data to drive decisionmaking with a focus on enhancing student experience and increasing student learning.
Applicants must have a valid license through the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) or the ability to obtain it by the contract start date. A Masters degree (M.A. or equivalent is required along with a minimum of three years of successful teaching and leadership experience at the elementary level or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
The salary range is $108411 $137371 as per the NonRepresented Employee Salary Schedule and is paid in 12 equal monthly installments. The position is a 220day contract including 10 paid holidays with a full benefits package that includes medical dental vision and life insurance. Additionally the position provides five paid flex days and two paid personal days. The district also covers mileage conference fees and membership dues to COSA OASSA NASSP and ASCD.
