Job Description
The Department of Ophthalmologyat theUniversity of Virginia School of Medicineis seeking applicants for a tenureeligible faculty position specializing in glaucoma. The Department currently serves as the ophthalmic referral center for central and western Virginia and parts of West Virginia North Carolina and eastern Tennessee. The abundance of patient volume provides excellent opportunities for advancement in ophthalmology.
Salary rank and tenure are commensurate with education and experience. The position will remain open until filled. The University will perform background checks on all new hires prior to employment. A completed preemployment health screen is required for this position prior to start date.

For more information on the benefits available to faculty at UVA visit and candidates must have an MD or equivalent by appointment start date and must have completed a fellowship in glaucoma.
