Your role:
The R&D Project Engineer I of Organic & Materials Science contributes to the Milwaukee R&D mission in Developing chemistry technologies to enable commercialization of high value products and services for chemical synthesis materials science and industrial customers.
As an integral part of our innovation team the Project Engineer I will collaborate with our partners in Business Development Marketing Packaging Packaging Engineering and Production to ideate new product equipment and technology concepts innovate solutions through chemistry and engineering and create quality production and packaging methods. Our project Engineer I will also set a highquality standard for accuracy in following good laboratory practices and in complying with all safety regulations.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Collaborate across functions to achieve business goals.
- Lead project efforts within area of expertise and experience.
- Leverage expertise of subject matter experts.
- Lead project efforts in other areas of expertise to create business value.
- Create workable and sustainable productionand packaging methods.
- Transfer production and packaging responsibilities to designated group.
- Create appropriate validation and qualification documentation for new processes and equipment assist in development of SOPs within the ISO 9001 framework.
- Provide technical support to Packaging Marketing Sales Quality Control Customer Service or the rest of the organization as needed.
- Maintain a network of academic and industrial leaders in chemistry materials science and related engineering while keeping up to date with current industry trends.
- Engage with internal innovation team in formulating project concepts.
- Actively contribute to chartering for welldefined projects.
Who you are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 5 years of industrial experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Has developed novel programs and applications in a modern programming language.
- Demonstrated experience in automated sample handling.
- Familiar with airsensitive chemical operations.
- Experience with ISO 9001 QMS.
- Work experience in chemistry innovation field or chemical manufacturing.
- Skillful with analytical chemistry methods.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
