Job Description

Greenbrook Mental Wellness Centers has a fulltime behavioral health technician position open in our Fairview Heights center! This opportunity is perfect for a healthcare professional with a patientfirst attitude solid mental health or healthcare experience and an eagerness to learn! We are seeking an individual who will be trained and certified to administer breakthrough behavioral health care services including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and esketamine therapy.

We offer a competitive pay range of $1922/hr (based on education level and prior experience) PLUS a generous benefits package including 401(k) with company match paid time off and medical/dental/vision benefits.

This fulltime position will primarily work inperson in our Fairview Heights center but may require occasional coverage of other centers in the region as needed. We are seeking someone with availability and flexibility MondayFriday to work five 8hour shifts per week. Shifts are scheduled between 7:00am7:00pm as hours of operation are flexible and will vary depending on regional and patient needs.

Primary responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Administering TMS or esketamine therapy in accordance with all providerestablished clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Monitoring all aspects of TMS and esketamine (Spravato) treatments to ensure patient wellbeing and clinical accuracy
  • Reviewing and administering psychiatric rating scales (i.e. PHQ9 QIDSSR16 to patients.
  • Identifying and resolving any issues related to patient discomfort during treatment using FDA preapproved guidance from device manufacturer(s) or applicable medication protocols and in accordance with all clinical provider directives.
  • Delivering exceptional patient care at all times by demonstrating empathy developing trust utilizing reflecting listening and providing support to a vulnerable patient population.
  • Recording all treatment session notes and documents in EHR collaborating with other team members and/or providers as needed.
  • Scheduling patients (both over the phone and in person) as well as conducting patient checkout procedures including collecting applicable copayments and relaying discharge instructions.
  • Maintaining understanding of general insurance and billing procedures to support related workflows and requests as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree (preferred not required see other acceptable qualifications below) and at least one year of experience working in a patient care or mental health office setting or operating room setting OR;
  • High School Diploma Associate Degree Medical Assistant or other clinical certification may be considered with additional years of solid work experience.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and EHR systems preferably AdvancedMD and SalesForce.
  • Knowledge of marketplace insurance payers and medical necessity guidelines highly recommended but not required.
  • Clinical Interviewing
  • Basic Life Support Certification will be provided
