The Department of Political Science in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington Kentucky invites applications for a fulltime Lecturer position Political Science to begin August 1 2025. The selected candidate will be appointed to a 9month nontenure eligible faculty position for an initial twoyear period that has the potential for renewal and for promotion to Senior Lecturer after five years. The individual selected for this position will demonstrate clear potential for teaching excellence and will be able to teach classes that support the departments new major: Law and Justice. The Law and Justice major is designed to equip students with an understanding of legal principles and justice systems and the critical skills needed to effectively address legal and justicerelated challenges in various professional contexts. A Ph.D. in Political Science in hand by July 2025 is required. Applicants must include the following: 1 Cover Letter 2 CV and 3 Teaching Statement (upload as Specific Request 1.
