Part time: 15 hours per week. Our nurses are required to cover one weekend shift per month paid as overtime.

The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated internal medicine nursing team at the Hospital for Small are seeking an RCVS registered veterinary nurse (RVN) who is organized and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Our Internal Medicine Service focuses on complex medical issues in dogs and cats that are often challenging to diagnose or treat. This position primarily involves working with canine patients during their stay at our hospital so if you excel in fear free patient care are detailoriented and enjoy handson nursing this role is perfect for you.
We provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for medical conditions including endocrine gastrointestinal hepatic renal nasal and haematological diseases. Our advanced facilities feature flexible videoendoscopy for examining and biopsying the gastrointestinal urinary and respiratory tracts. Additionally we offer a specialized I131 (radioactive iodine) treatment service for cats with hyperthyroidism primarily managed by our feline medicine nurses.
Extensive training will be provided with opportunities to shadow experienced nursing staff across all areas of the hospital.
