Were seeking a visionary Principal UX Designer to lead our Privacy initiatives in the Trust organization. This design leader will be focusing on infusing privacy and trust throughout the Alexa experience. The right candidate leads with clarity and empathy inspires others and has a passion for solving problems at massive scale. You excel through innovation creativity and attention to detail. You are a proven strategic thinker and collaborator who flourishes in a large organization. You sincerely believe that design is more than how something looks but also how it feels and functions. Working closely with senior executives youll translate complex strategic objectives into intuitive elegant experiences.
Key job responsibilities
In this role youll be responsible for implementing usercentric design solutions that deliver tangible business results measuring success through improved efficiency increased user satisfaction and enhanced ROI. Working closely with senior executives youll translate complex strategic objectives into intuitive elegant experiences that drive organizational change. This requires a deep understanding of both design thinking methodologies and business strategy allowing you to bridge the gap between user needs and business goals.
Bachelors degree in UX Design HCI or related field
10 years in experience design
Expert knowledge of design systems and AIenhanced products
Strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated design solutions
Mastery of modern design tools (Figma Sketch etc.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Deep understanding of GenAI applications in business transformation
Expertise in agile methodologies and lean UX principles

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $147600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $244000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
