Job Description

Know Your Rights: Home Infusion Manager oversees a team of pharmacists technicians and nonclinical positions who provide infusion services to patients in their home. This role is responsible to manage daily operations and ensure the department is in full compliance with all applicable laws regulations and accreditation standards governing the practice of pharmacy within the states serviced. This role is also responsible to assure 340B compliance as a contracted pharmacy and USP 797/800 compliance within cleanroom operations. This role requires oversight and maintenance of the home infusion quality improvement plan. Last this role is to plan communicate motivate and monitor operational and financial performance of home infusion pharmacy services to achieve desired outcomes.

Qualifications

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE TRAINING

Required qualifications:

  1. Active pharmacist license in the state of Illinois
  2. Bachelors degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  3. At least 3 years of experience in home infusion pharmacy
  4. At least 1 year of leadership or management experience
  5. Critical thinking decisive judgment and leadership skills are required.
  6. Excellent communication organizational and customer service skills are required.

Preferred qualification:

  1. Expertise in 340B program operations and compliance.
  2. Proficiency in Caretend electronic medical records (EMR) system.
  3. Knowledge of outpatient pharmacy revenue cycle as it relates to prescription and medical benefits.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role which includes estimated wages benefits and other forms of compensation is $113276.80 to $176488.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire in which a wide range of factors will be considered including but not limited to skillset years of applicable experience education credentials and licensure.
