Job Description
This position is a hybrid inoffice role that works out of our Boston HQ. MondayThursday will be working in office and Friday is WFH. This is not a virtual / remote position.
Wayfair is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst who will be an integral member of the organization as we build the Treasury function to match the current and future needs of the business.
As part of a dynamic strategic finance team at Wayfair the Senior Treasury Analyst will need to be someone comfortable working in ambiguity and able to help the team scale and optimize its operations understanding which areas to focus on to make meaningful impact. This person will be highly entrepreneurial collaborative analytical and a creative problemsolver experienced in treasury and financial analytics.
Treasury involves critical activities such as liquidity planning cash management foreign currency (FX) trading bank relationship and account management letter of credit & bank guarantee issuance and more. In addition as a member of the corporate finance team the successful candidate will also need to be a strong financial analyst and capable of building crossfunctional partnerships across the organization both domestically and internationally.

What Youll Do
- Monitor and analyze the companys daily cash position to ensure there is adequate liquidity prepare a daily report on the global cash position and assist with funding bank accounts when necessary
- Support Treasury to maintain and rationalize the companys choice of key global banks including the analysis of bank fee structures services relationships and counterparty credit quality/exposure
- Facilitate settlements of FX spot trades to appropriately fund different operating entities maintaining settlement instructions and updating FX mandates with counterparty banks
- Develop cash flow forecasts enhance visibility into global cash balances optimize working capital and establish metrics/key performance indicators
- Act as a treasury liaison with the companys business units in setting up new banking accounts services online banking access and handling bank inquiries and related matters
- Recommend and implement solutions to strengthen operational controls and incorporate best practices.
- Prepare review and maintain SOX compliance within the department; ensure proper controls exist over cash receipts disbursements and general treasury activities
- Work crossfunctionally with Legal Accounting and other Finance stakeholders regarding Treasury transactions and entity structures and providing assistance with quarterend and adhoc information requests as needed
- Work crossfunctionally with Technology teams regarding bank integrations and configurations with SAP and other systems
- Assist in executing letters of credit and bank guarantees and maintaining required documentation
- Help establish and maintain internal controls including banking records authorized signatories and legal documentation including SOX and FBARrelated documentation
- Other duties/ad hoc projects as assigned.
What Youll Need
- Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting Business or related field. CTP preferred.
- 25 years of relevant Treasury and/or corporate finance experience
- Knowledge of the banking industry and familiarity with Treasury instruments and processes such as payment methods banking documents bank account types KYC letters of credit etc.
- Ability to quickly understand complex transactions and apply finance and treasury principles
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work crossfunctionally across categories and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient organizational skills to efficiently plan and set priorities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
