Job Description

About the Role:

The Role:
The FP&A and Reporting Lead will play a pivotal role in driving financial analysis and reporting for our organization. This position requires a strong analytical mindset to perform complex analyses related to budgets strategic plans product line assessments mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and treasury and credit functions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree and 8 years of relevant accounting and financial analysis experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis and Modelling:
    • Conduct scenario planning and strategic financial modelling including target setting for up to 5 years while incorporating micro and macroeconomic assumptions.
    • Transform raw financial data into meaningful insights and presentable formats to effectively communicate financial narratives.
  • Monthly Close Estimate Budget Coordination: Lead the coordination of the close estimate and budget processes for entire Division ensuring accurate communication consolidation and reporting outputs for the wider CI finance team.
  • QFR/QBR Management:
    • Oversee the planning format timelines and coordination of inputs and updates for Quarterly Financial Reviews (QFR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
    • Directly manage CI expense and headcount updates to ensure alignment with overall financial strategies.
  • Business Partnering: Partner with the Corporate FP&A team to ensure the successful implementation of key deliverables and align CI with overall S&P Global goals.
  • Competencies Development: Develop and utilize financial modelling skills in Excel Think Cell and emerging digital finance tools such as Tableau to enhance scenario planning dashboards and reconciliations.
  • Finance System Expertise: Leverage extensive knowledge of financial systems including Anaplan SV and WD to provide insights and resolve systemrelated queries within the team.
  • Team Management: Manage a Finance Analyst overseeing responsibilities including Windows group management sanctions reporting Chart of Accounts maintenance and coordination of automation/AI initiatives across CI.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $124192 to $214573. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individuals geographic location as well as experience level skill set training licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
