Salary: Up to 55000.00 per year (depending on level of experience training and qualification)
We have an opportunity for a Lead Practitioner to join their team of staff in theTheatredepartment.
Please only apply to this advert if you have significant experience of managing a busy Minor Operations Unit and have experience in all aspects of Endoscopy. This should include supporting is both a management and clinical aspect to this role.
This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern. There is the requirement to be oncall for this role this is usually for over the phone advice.
Duties of this role include:
You support coordinate and actively assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Endoscopy Unit.
You provide quality planned care for patients during their periprocedure phase of care by delivering quality patient care through appropriate clinical supervision and managerial leadership.
You implement best practice standards (HTM 01 06 Royal College guidelines GRS JAG etc. in endoscopy service delivery.
You develop and support business initiatives polices and strategies which improve the service delivered to all our customers.
You are responsible for adhering to the departmental decontamination programme for flexible endoscopes.
You participate in the completing all departmental risk assessments COSHH assessments and implementing action plans to address risk.
You comply with all relevant mandatory training.
