Evaluation and treatment of patients in ways consistent with patient and family goals and values integrated with interventions of other disciplines and reflective of contemporary standards of appropriate participation in the development and achievement of organization programmatic treatment team and departmental policies procedures goals and objectives.
Essential Job Functions
Analyze and respond to psychological data to perceive behavioral and environmental stimuli with sufficient acuity and depth.
Accomplish timely accurate and thorough evaluations of patients communicating findings and recommendations that are responsive to the pertinent referral issue(s) and present clearly and concisely.
Performs documentation on proper forms in accordance with department policies and procedures reflecting all patients psychological status and personal issues that may affect goal attainment.
Develop communicate and deliver appropriate and timely and effective psychological interventions including patient behavior management plans.
Collaborate effectively with others in the interdisciplinary team interventions and serve as a resource and mentor to staff.
Approaching the client is appropriate for clients age group (adolescent adult geriatric).
Meet organizational and departmental responsibilities and standards in the areas of moral and ethical behavior customer relationships professional development and productivity.
Maintains and assures a safe environment for the department.
Handles and operates all necessary equipment and performs required duties according to established safety standards to maintain compliance with regulations and prevent injury.
Other duties assigned include overseeing student training research coordination customer relations professional development and managing the Test Library as directed.

Licensing/Certification
Current licensure in Psychology for the state of South Carolina. Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.
Primary Source Verification (if applicable): Labor Licensing and Regulation (LLR): Degree from an APAaccredited program including an APAapproved clinical internship. Post Doctoral Fellowship in Neuropsychology preferred.
Work Experience
3 years preferred experience working in rehabilitation setting in the assessment and treatment of adolescent adult and geriatric patients with psychosocial and cognitive deficits. Experience working in an interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary team.
