The King County Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD) has a staffing need for a skilled and experienced Industrial Painter at our West Point Treatment Plant. This is a great opportunity for an individual who likes a variety of work working with a diverse team that supports the Operations and Maintenance of the West section and conveyance systems. About the Role:
This position will be responsible for performing fully proficient (journeylevel) interior and exterior painting including applying all types of coats and sealants for a wastewater treatment plants equipment and facilities including pumps pipes floors walls steps and ceilings. Duties also include operating cleaning and maintaining all equipment materials and supplies used in painting assignment including the proper use storage handling and disposing of hazardous paints solvents and materials issues and generate work orders to initiate the work.
