Overview
Warringtonfire part of Element has an opportunity for aFIRAS Inspector to join our growing team covering the London / South East region. This is a great opportunity to develop your career within a Global Testing Inspection and Certification business.

Responsibilities
You will be conducting and organising:
- Applicant installer companies
- Sampled Site Inspections
- Competency assessments of supervisors technicians and operatives employed by FIRAS certified companies
- Document Report and outcome of findings from client visits
- Ensuring all clients and enquirers receive sound technical advice in regards to scheme Rules and Regulations
Skills / Qualifications
- Experience at a technical level in passive fire protection either with a contractor product manufacturer or testing and approval body
- Ability to work in a customerfacing role
- Previous exposure to any of the following; structural steel boarding fire rated ducting glazing partition systems penetration roller shutter doors cementitious spray fire doors cavity barriers intumscent paint
- Knowledge of MS Office Products (Teams Word Excel Outlook) and mobile / laptop devices
- Good general education
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Onsite inspection experience
- Be able to prioritise organise and coordinate your workload
- Ability to work on your own initiative (this is a work from home contract)
- Ideally based in London / South East surrounding areas
- Clean driving license and full UK passport
